Travel eSIM for OFWs, seafarers and balikbayans

Land connected at your deployment, message family the moment you arrive, and keep your PH number for OTPs while you're away.

Made for long stays and many ports

Install before you leave, use Dayo for data on arrival, and switch to a local plan once you are settled if that is cheaper for a long contract.

  • Online from the arrival hall

Call home, find your ride and reach your agency without hunting for Wi-Fi.

  • Your PH number stays on

Keep your registered Philippine SIM active and check that it can receive OTPs abroad.

  • Many countries, one eSIM

Seafarers can use Dayo Global or a regional plan across ports.

  • Help in Filipino, any hour

Real people on chat 24/7, whatever time zone you land in.

Agencies and crewing companies

Give every deployed worker or crew member an Arrival Pack eSIM, with partner pricing and vouchers by code or QR.

Keep your Philippine number ready

Dayo handles data abroad. Your Philippine SIM stays in the phone for texts and OTPs, so a little prep before you fly saves a lot of stress later.

Before you fly

  • Check your SIM's validity

A long contract can outlast a prepaid SIM. Ask your network how to keep the line active from abroad and set a reminder.

  • Open your money apps once

GCash, your bank and your remittance app: confirm the registered number is yours and that you can reach your recovery email.

  • Never share an OTP

Not with anyone who offers to help with a transfer.

When you land

  • Dayo for data, PH SIM for texts

Set Dayo as your mobile-data line and keep the Philippine line on so OTPs still arrive.

  • Roaming off on the PH line

Turn Data Roaming off for your Philippine SIM and switch off automatic line switching if your phone has it.

  • Follow the Dayo prompt

Dayo's own Data Roaming setting is separate. The app shows you which switch is which.

Arrival first, then the contract

  • Cover the first days

A travel plan gets you through meeting your employer, sorting housing and comparing local options.

  • Then compare for the long stay

For months away, weigh total cost, validity and whether you need a local number. One package rarely covers a whole contract.

  • Moving between countries?

Compare Dayo Global with the regional plans. One balance across stops, but it does not reset at a border.

Remittances and calling home

Dayo supplies the connection; your remittance provider handles the transfer, fees and identity checks in its own app. For family calls, use your usual messaging app over data or Wi-Fi. Video eats more data than voice, so drop the quality or switch to audio for long chats. Agree a regular call time and keep an offline copy of emergency contacts.

For seafarers between ports

Check the actual port countries before choosing a regional or global plan. Coverage is on land networks, not at sea; the ship's connection is separate. Download documents while ashore and keep enough data for the next port's ride, agency messages and the family check-in.
